the grandest day of my youth.

hi, so it's been a long awaited update in this hellhole which few people even visit now. but i still like it the way it is, for me to have fun.
so its been a five day book out and boy, did five days fly past like nobody's business. in less than 12 hours time, yours truly will be away on a ferry back to the hawk company.
so what's been new. frankly, cny was a non-event for me. in the sense that i didn't really feel in the cny mood kinda thing, i didnt really give a damn abt cny. it was just cny and that's that. did a few visiting, got a few red packets and that did it for the festivities.

so ytd was a movie with xiaomin, and the movie was racing stripes. quite a cliche movie but ok quite funny. but wassap with xm who wont grow up man. but ok it was fine, otherwise i would have been rotting at home anyway. well, the thing is that after that she wanted to go clubbing, but not me. so i didnt go. i escaped from her evil clutches, trying to bring me to the gates of hell, where temptation, lust, and vice lies. luckily, i had hgreat mental power and i resisted the seductress's hypnotic powers. where i promptly went home to my beloved bed.

today. was a great day. in terms of dimensions and all that. it was fantastic. i figured it was the best dinner i ever had in a whole month, or if i'd go so far as to say a year, i would. exotic and new food, great company, brilliant ambience, great conversation. ok, xiaomin's conversation at pasta fresca yesterday would come in a close second but that's only cos of the subject matter. ;) that was meant as a tongue-in-cheek poke by the way. prior to dinner, i was at the place which i have been thinking about for the past week, after visiting it during my last book out. and i was so happy. candy empire was great too. and walking around the place was great. but it was an extended tour of the place, and the journey did stretch far and long, all the way to the so called "gallery", which wasn't very gallerious. but the photos were rather exquisite, and i must say that indeed, they were fit for pasting on walls. for dear me's sake, i thought they were painted on the walls. as i was saying, dinner was great, but it wasn't filling. so i was hungry. as i always am, after being pampered in the SAF. and so we adjourned for a post-dinner filler. which happened to be ice cream. nice. ice cream always ranks on top of my most wanted list. absolutely sinful but nice. post dinner was a continuation of dinner. which is always good.
the number of double entendres were numerous, if you care to know, dearest liangfa, the likes of which i might share with you if i do remember them. but i think i have forgotten them. but let it be known that there indeed were numerous double entendres, some of which would make even you blush.
post activity, in admin time, i went to james' house for a little rubba lucka and that was it. and now i'm home. its quite incredible having two blackjacks in a row when you're banker. the money flew in as if it were free. but me being the benovelent and generous me, redistributed it back to my dearest beloved comrades. and now, i go to bed.

while we are holding guns

but we do it willingly.
for there is no more sacred task than defending your land.

to the safety and prosperity of singapore!

oh, and if i forgot to add this, it's been a long time. a really really long time. since i've felt this way. and it feels good. absolutely splendid. if only the moment, never ended. for that moment. time stood still.
for that moment. ii was in a stasis.
and that is the moment, i will always remember.
