can't forget. days in BMT.

Damn, im home now, cos i booked out for a firefly interview, which was quite short. its raining cats and bulls now, and my cadet comrades are over at air force sch for some air force visit, which i wanted to go for.
damn.
but this is good too.

OCS life has been bad. it is such a culture shock from hawk coy. in OCS, we rush here, and we rush there. but it's ok, we do indeed learn alot of things, in fact, i've learnt much more in my 9 days in OCs than my 9 weeks in BMT. oh man, its another 18 weeks till my pro-term starts. until then, it's shit to eye level.

every night's admin time is not more than 5mins, and that totally sucks.. it's totally crazy. and ek kiat always talks alot after lgihts out, but luckily we havent been caught yet. so its ok. we don't wanna be the ones causing a turnout. tomorrow i will have to wake up at like 3 or 4 cos i have to have some confidence jump at the pool at 0530. which is stupid and crazy. but it's one of the phases we all go through.

i like the OCS uniform, it makes u feel really pro. they have special microfiber pt kit, nice polo tees, and the epaulettes add to the grandeur.

alas, it's all a facade. that's all right. time's running short for me. gotta fly soon. back to OCS. and see u next saturday. assuming i'm still alive after leadership field camp.. ha ha ha...........

ok wish me luck. whatever the case. yea!

what the future will bring.

after a long block leave, and hours and hours spent filling up and collating scholarship forms and applications, i am more or less done.
sometimes it really does cheapen things, filling up the AAAAD and it all looks like nothing on paper. just a few letters. yet, the truth such that it is 4As. but so what? increasingly, i get jaded with the As as i fill up form after form. it is amazingly surreal, yet dumb at the same time. the scholarship application processor will probably just look at the 4As and notice that it is amazingly similar. is this what we have spent the last 18 years of our lives, 14 years in education doing? striving for the holy grail and eventually when you get it, you feel nothing. strangely, its weird. but it doesnt matter cos facts are facts.

im only updating this because i havet written here for a long time.
so i guess its on to OCS. no more private Tan. call me cadet tan. the shortest time being a private. brian can continue being a private in his unit.

and another year of training before we get commissioned and life becomes slack.. but til then.
oh well. whhatever.
